As the Premier League campaign draws closer Arsenal are still on the lookout for there second summer signing, after missing out on the race for Henry Onyekuru to Everton. But it is not all glum Arsenal fans, Sky Sources have said that the club have had two bids rejected for Lyon ace Alexandre Lacazette and Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.
Okay, so the bids have been rejected but this does mean that Arsenal are actually looking to go big this summer. Having already strengthened his side with the Bosnian Sead Kolasinac, Arsene Wenger looks intent on getting the fans back on his side, but will have to cough up £50m for Lacazette, and with Lemar having three years left on his current Monaco deal, Arsenal may have to part with a sum larger than the reported £30m rejected offer.
Arsenal are looking to improve the attacking line after the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been linked with moves away from the club, and with the club looking to regain their Champions League spot it is a position they can not afford to weaken.
